Roses are so beautiful and once you start painting them you will never stop. There will be just more ideas coming in and more inspirations as you see... smell... embrace them.

Different colors, different shapes, different textures; rose buds; open roses; different techniques; never ending possibilities.

Below are pictures of some of the roses I painted in the last couple of weeks. I have been favoring Rough Watercolor Paper lately. I love the texture and easiness of dry brushing on this paper (adding shadows and more texture to the rose petals).
