I use a Washi tape to create a clean white frame along my paintings.

Washi tape is totally optional. The one I use is called MT Washi Tape from Japan. I buy it from Amazon.

I prefer this brand much better vs Recollections from Michaels. It sticks better and peels off well. The frame stays nice and clean.
